Vietnam the International Travel Hub of S.E. Asia

HaNoi: Vietnam within the next ten years is likely to become the major economic driver in S.E. Asia. The nation has a young and energetic population and is presently experiencing growth rates well beyond the average in the developed and developing world. With increasing foreign investment and economic will, Vietnam will easily displace Thailand to become the economic hub of S.E. Asia. The first step on this road will be to position either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh as the major international airport in the region. With a major investment in airport infrastructure supported with generous airport landing rights, Vietnam can become the preferred business and tourist hub for all of the major airlines in S.E. Asia taking business away from both Bangkok, Singapore and Hong Kong.
